Affordable Recreation for Community Health
Scholarships for Walnut Creek Recreation Programs

Walnut Creek Recreation's ARCH Program provides financial assistance to families in need of obtaining high quality recreation programs for their children. ARCH recipients receive a 50% scholarship to qualifying Recreation youth programs (not including processing or supply fees). See below for information on eligibility and how to apply.

   Step 1: Do You Qualify?

   Qualified participants must:

  • Be under the age of 18 or be a Specialized Recreation participant of any age.
  • Reside in Walnut Creek or attend a public K-12 school in the City of Walnut Creek.
  • Meet household income requirements (right).

   Step 2: Are You Interested in a Qualifying Recreation Program?
    Qualifying Recreation Youth Programs include:
  • After School Sports
  • Walnut Creek Recreation Camps
  • Swim Lessons
  • Specialized Recreation
  • Recreation Youth Classes

 separate scholarship program available.

   Step 3: Complete & Submit Application

Complete our ARCH Application Form and attach all required documentation including proof of income/need and proof of residency or attendance at a Walnut Creek school.
